Will be added to the IM portfolio as IMSelect line; MEMPHIS continues to focus on impartial technical and commercial consulting as THE global memory competence center
Bad Homburg, October 29, 2024 - From January 2025, MEMPHIS Electronic, the Memory Competence Center with a unique portfolio of memory components and modules, will hand over its private-label DRAM modules to Intelligent Memory. As a result, MEMPHIS can focus all its efforts on providing impartial advice on the memory technologies of its 18 franchised suppliers and will turn to Intelligent Memory's module configuration for special requirements.
Intelligent Memory will include the module series in its portfolio under the name IMSelect. MEMPHIS will be presenting details of the portfolio, which includes the first completely lead-free DRAM module family from DDR1 to DDR5, at electronica 2024 from November 12 to 15 in Munich, at stand B4.101.
Since 1991, MEMPHIS has been configuring memory modules themselves and having them manufactured by Pacific Force Technology Limited, which changed its name to Intelligent Memory in 2013. Since 2021, MEMPHIS Electronic and Intelligent Memory have both been a part of the Neumonda Group, which has created synergies.
"Under the umbrella of the Neumonda Group, we are able to focus on our respective strengths," explains Marco Mezger, President of Memphis Electronic and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Neumonda Group. "Intelligent Memory as a product company is the expert in manufacturing memory products, while MEMPHIS' strength lies in finding the best memory products in terms of performance, availability and price for our customers' versatile applications. Hence it is only a logical step that IM takes over the configuration and production to be able to offer the new IMSelect product line to all distribution partners worldwide. At the same time, MEMPHIS Electronic can concentrate fully on customer advice and support."
At electronica 2024, MEMPHIS Electronic will present its unique portfolio of memory products from more than 18 manufacturers in Hall B4, Stand 101 and provide insights into technological innovations and current price developments in DRAM and NAND.
